Who we are

EngCatcher was born from our own experiences as young learners who needed something more engaging than what was available on the market at the time. At the same time, learning to speak a new language from a textbook is no longer effective in today’s fast-paced world.

Our team is made up of native and non-native fluency coaches who are passionate about creating a better learning experience for their students. We believe that learning English should be an interactive experience, not from boring textbooks with plain images or written words alone that are not related to anything in real life. And we know that there are better ways than just memorizing grammar rules and individual words out of context—and we want to prove it!

Therefore, for over 4 years, our team put a lot of effort into creating our movies and lessons based on real situations that 1,000+ of our students have faced while speaking English in their lives. Our courses have integrated those questions and are carefully designed to be easily used and understood by Asian Learners like ourselves.

We especially wanted to highlight the “communication skills” that you can’t learn with traditional methods. We understand firsthand that learning a language becomes challenging without prior context and real-life experience.

These are just some of the “Story Immersion” ideas that led us here.
